Angela Blanchard is President Emerita of BakerRipley, the largest charitable organization in Texas and one of the largest in the country. BakerRipley’s work focuses on development in underserved neighborhoods in Houston. As the leader of the organization, Angela has worked on issues related to immigration, refugee resettlement, and disaster relief. Most recently mobilizing to shelter tens of thousands of people after Hurricane Harvey. Currently, Angela in residence at Brown as a Taubman Fellow and a Swearer Social Entrepreneur in Residence.
